Right of Withdrawal

This notice applies to consumers who make a paid purchase of HashCoins (digital content not supplied on a tangible medium) in the game HashEmpire, processed through the external payment service Ko-fi.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract (confirmation of your purchase).

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us,

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unambiguous statement (e.g. by email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, although it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and, in any event, not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction (typically via Ko-fi), unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If HashCoins were already credited to your game account before you exercised your right of withdrawal, or already partly or fully spent in the Premium Shop, any (partial) consumption of the digital content may affect your reimbursement claim (see also the note on early expiry of the right of withdrawal below).

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

Your right of withdrawal expires early once we have begun performing the contract (i.e. crediting HashCoins to your game account), provided that you have

expressly agreed that we begin performance of the contract before the withdrawal period has expired, and
acknowledged that, by giving your consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

We obtain this consent and acknowledgment during the purchase process (or via the corresponding confirmation at Ko-fi) before HashCoins are credited. If no such consent is given, we will not fully perform the contract until the withdrawal period has expired.
