Power & Energy Contracts
Power Supply
Without an active energy contract, no power is available to your farm. If your contract expires or no contract is active, all running miners are automatically shut down.
The Marketplace
- Three new energy offers appear on the marketplace every hour — one random offer in each of the three rarity tiers, Common, Rare, and Very Rare. A Standard Contract is also always available as an unlimited option.
- Each hourly offer has a limited stock that is shared by all players — once it’s sold out, it’s gone for that hour. Rarer offers have fewer units available.
- You can buy at most one contract per hour (this includes the Standard Contract).
- Your inventory holds up to three contracts. Purchased contracts start out inactive — their duration only begins once you activate the contract.
- For each contract, you can choose a duration of 24, 48, or 72 hours. The listed price is based on 24 hours and scales with the duration you choose.
- Only one energy contract can be active at a time. Activating a new contract replaces and forfeits the previously active one.
Electricity Costs
Your electricity price depends on your active energy contract and your facility tier. Higher facility tiers improve your grid efficiency, further lowering your effective electricity price.
How much you actually pay also depends on your farm’s total consumption and how long your miners run. Your solar array affects costs too: every solar level lowers your electricity costs further.
When your active energy contract expires, all miners are automatically shut down and you receive a notification.
