Global Events
Every 5 minutes (an “epoch”), it’s decided for all players at once whether an event starts. Default probability: 7% per 5-minute window → roughly 20 events per 24 hours.

Events
Events don’t take full effect immediately. At the start and end of each event, there’s a brief transition phase where the effect gradually ramps up or fades out. This transition phase corresponds to 15% of the event’s duration.
Offline Events
Even while you’re not online, important events can still happen on your farm. When you return, you’ll see the relevant events from the last 24 hours along with their actual timestamps.
Duplicate notifications are avoided, and only events that directly affect your farm are shown. These include things like power outages, heatwaves, cheap electricity prices, or hardware shortages. Pure market movements aren’t shown as offline events — they remain visible in the price chart.
Community Events
On top of the random market events, the HashEmpire team can start time-limited community events. They apply to all players at the same time and grant a percentage bonus: a Hashrate Boost (more mining yield), Cheap Electricity (lower power costs), or a PvP Boost (more PvP points for successful attacks). While you are away, the bonus is credited proportionally for the time the event was running.
