Hashrate, Power Draw & Mining Yield
Hashrate & Power Draw (per miner)
Firmware and PSU upgrades slightly raise a miner’s hashrate while lowering its power draw. Overclocking works the other way: it noticeably raises hashrate, but also pushes up power draw, heat and wear. Wear itself lowers hashrate over time.
Summary: Overclocking boosts hashrate but also power draw, heat and wear. Efficiency upgrades (PSU/firmware) lower power draw and slightly raise hashrate. An overheated miner performs noticeably worse while drawing more power.
Mining Yield & Global Difficulty
Your mining yield depends on your total hashrate, elapsed time, and the current difficulty — more hashrate and more time mean more BTC, while higher difficulty lowers the yield per TH/s.
Global difficulty rises with the sum of hashrate of ALL active players worldwide — the more everyone mines together, the less each player earns per TH/s, exactly like the real Bitcoin network.
Difficulty itself fluctuates over time in a daily and weekly wave — you can’t influence this value.
